dated 1906, 25 1/4in. nitro reproved barrel, blade fore-sight with inward curving protectors, elevating rear-sight graduated to 2000 yards and with micrometer windage adjustment, chequered tops to the side protectors, blued receiver, magazine cut-off, bolt with sliding charger guide, oval cocking-piece, side safety, walnut butt-stock of usual form with blank brass identity disc, the right side marked 'B.S.A. CO. SPARKBROOK. 1906. SHT L.E. I*', brass buttplate with central trapdoor complete with pull-through and brass oil bottle, walnut full-length fore-end with top-cover and fitted with dial volley sights, sling swivels, woodwork marked 'DP', leather sling, weight 9lb. 8oz.
